Highlights

New feature

We have begun work on a new tool: System Information! This tool will give you an overview of running processes, services and startup items. Also it has a rough implementation for watching new startup items and asking you to allow or disable such items. For now, the functionality is limited, but we plan to extend it in the future.

    • Can now create full backups of the Game Library, including launch settings, posters, wallpapers, etc.
    • Running a game in Administrator mode now shows an Admin icon in the launch popup window.

    • Added option to change default filename for Zip and Copy action.

• Registry

  • Added a basic binary editor to edit registry values with binary data.

• Search and Replace

  • You can now create custom RegEx snippets/quick actions by modifying the file at: Unify Data\tools\searchreplace\regex.txt. Note that every RegEx snippet needs to be on a single line in the text file. See the example file installed by default.

  • Added option to enable/disable Tools during gaming (previously they were always disabled).
  • Hotkeys
  • Added System hotkey.
  • Web search add/remove buttons renamed.

• Scripting

  • Added SYSTEM parameter for ShowUnifyDialog method. This will open the System Tool.

• Global

  • Updated Magick.NET (imaging) component to latest version.

• Gaming

  • General
    • Better automatic detection of the correct executable for a game.
  • Stores
    • Improved the way the store's webpage for a game is retrieved (by clicking an entry's Store icon).
  • Editing
    • Compatibility executable now supports path variables.
    • Run as Administrator compatibility setting is now also stored in the Windows registry so Windows recgonizes it.
    • Compatibility settings are now written immediately to Windows registry when settings are saved, not only when game is launched.
  • Importing
    • The Game Found At textbox will no longer appear unless you check the Add To Installed Library checkbox.
    • While searching for the game location, if a match is found, it will now immediately be filled-in.
    • While searching, you can no longer manually select an executable, you first need to stop the search.
    • When importing a game, the (irrelevant) success or failure messagebox is no longer shown.
    • The executable location will now also be saved when it is a new entry, not only for existing entries.

• Tools

  • Can now open folder paths that start or end with several invalid characters (which can happen when copying from a webpage).

• Clipboard

  • Alternate Pasting files will not paste them in alphabetical order.
  • Quick Actions
    • Can now open folder paths that start or end with several invalid characters (which can happen when copying from a webpage).
    • Renaming webpage title will now copy the title not only in RTF, but also in HTML , as well as copying the URL as text.
    • When adding only files to Search and Replace, you will no longer be asked to add subdirectories.

• Search and Replace

  • After searching, the first result will be scolled into view.
  • Adding lots of files will now work better, and progress report now has an Abort button.
  • F3 shortcut added in textboxes to cycle through search results.
  • Pressing CTRL+ENTER in Search or Replace textboxes will now start the search/replace.
  • Opening or locating the file will now use the lastly selected item, either from source files or from found files.
  • When choosing RegEx search/replace, it will automatically fill the replace textbox with '$1' by default, which replaces with the text entered in the 'Replace' textbox.
  • Several UI changes.

  • Fixed a bug in the move file method causing the source file not to be deleted in case the destination file existed already.

• Gaming

  • Editing
    • Run as Administrator setting now read correctly.
    • Choosing compatibility executable from combobox now sets it correctly.
      

• Clipboard

  • Quick Actions
    • When Zipping, the directory name for the added file(s) is added as a preset for the Zip filename again.

• Collector

  • Several filename bugs fixed when saving URL links to Collector.

• Registry

  • Clearing text filter will now correctly show all values.

• Scripting

  • Fixed internal type cast error for lists.
